I’m the new generation of content creator.
It’s a noisy and crowded world on the Internet, especially in media and on social media. Who knows how many hours I’ve wasted doom-scrolling through TikTok!
But what sets me apart from the hordes of creators is both the quality and volume of skills I’ve already developed across multiple disciplines - from honing my interviewing craft to producing high-profile talent; working across audio, television and video production; presenting for large crowds, online audiences and easily under pressure. Just call me the Swiss Army Knife of the media world.
To give you a glance, I’ve written for the likes of MTV Australia, Tone Deaf and The AU Review; worked in production for Netflix, Stan, VEVO and more; and for events like MTV Crashes and The Invictus Games. I regularly produce podcasts and interviews, from ideation, research, scripting, booking… all the way to publish; and I even started my own popular Instagram Live music chat show, The Tait Night Show.
Above all, I’ve got that young burning passion so make sure you harness it!
I’m friend-first, fan-second.
There’s nothing worse than watching a piece content that feels like shoes that are just a bit too tight or like the sand in your undies after the beach: Uncomfortable.
That’s why my work is born from my ethos of “friend-first, fan-second”. I not only put my subject, but also the viewer at instant ease as I work hard for a laugh and research intensely to create a memorable moment that you won’t find anywhere else, like we’ve been friends for eternity.
The past year has been an experiment, putting my rapport-building skills to test with most of my interviews taking place over Zoom or Instagram Live. Head to my YouTube to see the results!
